Getting your product onto UAE shelves

The paperwork is what slows most first shipments down. Here is how we split it.

What you handle

Importer registration and product registration with the local food authority, for example Dubai Municipality, and customs clearance at Jebel Ali.

What we provide

Ingredient list, nutrition values, COA, label artwork details and all shipping documents, so registration and clearance have what they need.

Labels

Retail packs need Arabic labelling. We print Arabic and English labels to your approved artwork. Bulk bags for foodservice carry standard product and batch details.

Common questions

Do you export soya chunks to Dubai and the UAE?
Yes. We ship soya chunks and soya granules in containers from Nhava Sheva (JNPT) or Mundra to Jebel Ali, quoted FOB Indian port or CIF Jebel Ali.
What payment terms do you accept for UAE orders?
We work with letters of credit at sight and with cash against documents through banks, as well as bank transfer. The terms are agreed per order.
Do retail packs need Arabic labels in the UAE?
Yes. Retail packs sold in the UAE need Arabic labelling, and the importer registers the product with the local food authority, for example Dubai Municipality for Dubai. We provide the ingredient list, nutrition values and COA you need for registration, and can print the label in Arabic and English.
Can you supply halal certified soya chunks?
Tell us at the enquiry stage if your buyers need a halal certificate, and we will confirm what we can provide for that shipment.
How much soya chunks fit in a container?
A 40 ft container holds roughly 13 to 13.5 tonnes of chunks, and more if you take granules because they pack denser. We confirm the exact figure with your packing choice.
Can you ship to Jebel Ali for re-export?
Yes. If the goods will be re-exported from Jebel Ali to other GCC or African markets, tell us the final destination so we prepare documents and labels that suit it.
